You know how it feels, don't you?

You know how it feels, don't you,
To be hurt, to be neglected,
To be left, to be forgotten.

You know how it feels, don't you,
When the one who used to love you,
Who used to be by your side,
Who used to wipe your tears,
Now makes you feel invisible.

You know how it feels, don't you,
When you listen, but nobody's talking,
When you see, but nobody's looking,
When you feel, but nobody's touching,
It is only you, and your memories.

You know how it feels, don't you,
Then why did you do this to me?
You know how it feels, don't you,
Then why do you let me stay here?

Perlahan-lahan, sakit!

Digenggam erat,
Tak terlepaskan,
Semakin erat,
Ibarat cengkaman,
Perlahan-lahan, sakit!

Sedikit demi sedikit,
Mulai dilepaskan,
Jatuh tak berbunyi,
Jatuhnya melayang,
Perlahan-lahan, sakit!

Lukanya tak terlihat,
Retak dek cengkaman,
Hari demi hari berlalu,
Luka retak makin lebam,
Perlahan-lahan, sakit!

Masa terus berlalu,
Tak menunggu walau sesaat,
Luka retak terus terbiar,
Lebam terus membiru,
Perlahan-lahan, sakit!

Datang membawa ubat,
Penawar untuk luka retak,
Memandang tiada senyum,
Ubat disapu aduh kasar,
Perlahan-lahan, sakit!

Datang sekejap cuma,
Lalu pergi tanpa kata,
Luka retak tiada penawar,
Tak terlihat lalu terbiar,
Perlahan-lahan, sakit!

Smile More

IMG_2422.JPG
Smile
I used to wear that smile
The smile that had gone
Long ago.

Stolen
That smile was stolen
By pain, sorrow and grief
Disappear.

Till I met someone
"You have a cute smile"
He said, "Smile more!"
And it's back.

I heard a sound,
A sound of sorrow,
A sound of tear drops.

Was she ill?
Was she hurt?
Was she in pain?
— again?

She got out of bed,
She walked toward me,
She stared at me — in grief.

"Please, be strong," she said.

Then she smiled at me,
A smile that she used to wear,
A smile that had long gone,
Thus, I smiled back at her —
full of hope.

Letter to Dear Future Husband

Assalamu'alaikum w.b.t.

Dear 'Adam',

How are you today? I hope you're doing really great. Although I don't know if we ever met before but I always pray for you and I hope you will find me soon.

My dear, do you ever think of being gorgeous to be a husband? Have you ever worried about what car did you ride? Or how big is your house? Or how wealthy you are?

Rainbow After The Rain

إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
"Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease." — Holy Quran 94:6
Whenever we go through a hardship, problems and difficulties, sadness and sorrow, and various problems in life, there are things we need to know with certainty. The pain that you’ve been through can’t compare to the joy that’s coming. Life goes on just like summer goes to rain. But remember, there will always be a rainbow after the rain. A good thing will always happen after you experience pain. Always. May Allah (SWT) make us of those who constantly turn to Him, in hardship and ease. In sha Allah.

Do Good Unto Others

Si Pari-Pari Kecil

Si Pari-Pari Kecil,
Tak punya sayap,
Tak punya sakti.

Tubuhnya kerdil,
Punya khayalan tinggi,
Simpan angan yang besar.

Bersimpuh di atas batu,
Memandang ke langit,
Indahnya oh Sang Bulan.

Pabila datang awan,
Menutup cahaya bulan; hujan.
Lantas ia berdiri,
Mencari; terus mencari.

Pelitanya si kunang-kunang,
Payungnya cuma daun-daun kering.

Lalu berkata Si Pari-Pari Kecil;

“Dalam titis hujan, ku teruskan langkah,
Dalam kesunyian kelam malam, tanpa cahaya.
Biar onak berduri mencangkuk, luka berdarah,
Ku yakin pasti di hujung sana, ketemu sinarnya.”
